Face Mix - Face Mix Pavers have a smoother surface (without being slippery and have a brighter and more dense color. This affect is achieved due to the concentration of color only on the surface and the use of fine aggregates and sand in the top layer.
Through Mix - Through Mix Pavers have pigment (color) throughout the entire paver and the surface has a slight coarseness.
Tumbled Stone - Pavers are loaded into a large cylinder which spins at a specified revolution speed causing the pavers to hit upon each other and against the sides of the cylinder. This creates a uniform chipping and marking on each paver giving a weathered natural look to the pavers.
Design Line - Design Line Pavers involve special finishing operations which texture the paver surface in a variety of ways, exposing the interior composition of the paver product. Ackerstone has the unique ability to feed colored aggregates and/ or colored glass into the paving stone surface.
